Pretend Play Developmental Skills
Pretend play is so much fun!
When we let our imaginations take over and when we really play together, as children want us to do, there are no limits as to where their minds can take them and there is no chance of running out of things to enjoy and talk about with them!
This development milestone starts emerging from around 14 months when your lil one starts to show the first signs of Symbolic Play, by imitating adult behavior such as talking on the phone or reading a newspaper. At around 2 years, this play becomes more sophisticated and you might see your lil one reading books to their favourite stuffed toy!
Pretend Play becomes more elaborate and sophisticated as your child grows. Check out our range of fun Pretend Play toys .
See how your lil one plays at being Doctor with My Doctor Set or assumes the role of a "Handy Kid" around the house building and repairing with My First Toolbox. Cleaning up is so much more fun with My First Cleaning Set and My Beauty Cosmetic Set will allow them to dress up and role play to their heart's content.
So let the imaginations soar and play pretend!
